Whether on the production floor or working with sales and customer service John’s 22-year corporate career has made him an experienced hand in all of these areas.
John has successfully worked with many family-owned businesses. Some as far away as New Zealand and Australia, to England and close to home in Greeley, Colorado. He helped these companies with everything from HR issues to greater profitable sales to deploying LEAN/Six Sigma, ISO-9001 certification, and project management.
John has excelled in many different roles. Lead Petty Officer on two US Navy nuclear submarines, Field Engineer, Project Manager, overseeing the incident-free upgrade of turbine controls at two nuclear power plants, Global product manager launching new products and exceeding 20% plus growth every year, and General Manager for sales and service in Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean. John is used to getting his hands dirty and understands what it means to be an owner and a jack of all trades. Fortunately, he mastered a few along the way!
John and his wife Valeri have two children, Asher a student at GCU in Phoenix AZ – studying business and working in a family-owned auction business, and Moriah who is studying to be a medical assistant while working full-time.
Steve has a deep passion for excellence in leadership and change management. Steve helps clients grow as leaders enabling their business to grow today and be prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.
Steve’s passion for leadership led him to accept the challenge of going from an enlisted Airman in the US Air Force to a career that included, base commander of the largest mobile transport wing, commander of the VIP Squadron (flying any government official except the President of the USA). Steve leveraged LEAN / Six Sigma principles to improve USAF business practices, the results saved millions of dollars in a wide range of environments from a large hospital’s surgical scheduling, to large aircraft maintenance streamlining, to warehousing process improvements, to organizational restricting, and much more. Steve retired as a Brigadier General, he knows leadership.
Steve uses his leadership skills every day. He serves on the Board of Directors for a waste-to-biofuels development company (previously COO for two years) and is the President of the Washington DC chapter of the American Association of Individual Investors, a non-profit organization providing investor education.
Steve and his wife Deb live in the Lorton, Virginia area, their son Steve is a college junior at East Carolina University, majoring in Business and a placekicker on the football team.
